News: Changes Coming Tomorrow!

Hey, everyone.

So, back in August I speculated on whether or not I would start writing short fiction pieces as a means to make my blog more popular and what to do about those blogs of mine that aren't particularly popular. Well, I've finally come to a decision: I am going to write short fiction pieces. In fact, as a part of NaNoWriMo, I'm going to start writing daily flash fiction pieces and short poems. Hopefully, I'll catch someone's attention. And we'll see how long I can do it for.

Also, looking at my most popular blog posts, this blog will probably steadily turn into an INTJ and RWBY-centric blog. I intend to continue writing INTJ and RWBY posts every week, and I will have to post original RWBY posts as no one seems that interested in my critique and review posts. As for my Let's Talk About Writing and Cryptids and the Paranormal posts, I will write for these topics, but much less often than once a week. To be honest, I don't feel like I know enough to actually keep updating them every week and that's time I could be using on something else. Also, I may drop Music Reviews and Misc. totally. I'm too sure yet. But anyway, expect my first flash fiction/poem tomorrow morning. I hope to eventually come up with a lottery system so what I write every day is different in terms of fiction or poetry, genre, and style. Won't that be fun?

Incoming Changes

Hey, everyone.

So, there might be some incoming changes to the blog. Basically, I'm broke and getting broker. And I put a lot of time into this blog. For some entries, I come up with a thousand words easy. And some entries do really well whereas others not so much. I may need to advertise the blog more, but the real problem is my financial situation. I need money, which means I need to sacrifice some of my time. Now, two of my usual blog topics, Cryptids and the Paranormal and Writing, don't do as well as RWBY and INTJ. I mean, when I was writing about cryptids only, I was doing fairly well in terms of popularity, but recently, it has dropped off quite badly. And very few people are reading the writing blog. I'm thinking of dropping them, either entirely or mostly. Maybe just to half until I figure out how to make them work for me.

So, with the extra time on my hands, that means I'll be able to spend more time writing my books which is likely to net me more money than the blog, and I can try to promote the blog more. And if necessary, trying to get a real job which I can use to support myself with. So, my usual upload schedule of four or five articles a week is going to take a bit of a dive. And honestly, with all the writing blogs out there, I should probably focus more on writing dynamite entries than just turning out entries as fast as possible. But, we'll see. I recently bought a promotion for ROCCO and it could help get me some regular readers. But... we'll see.

News: New Stuff Coming

Hey, everyone.

So, today I was thinking about how I don't have any Patreon supporters yet, and I was wondering what was causing it. Not being popular enough is certainly a contributing factor, but then I started looking at my blog. I have several series going on right now, and regarding a couple of them, I'm fairly certain most people will expect me to keep them up regardless of whether I'm broke or not. Even if it requires me to get a job that doesn't allow me a lot of time to write, which I may have to do which will cut into my writing. Things that I've been updating weekly will probably only be updated once every two weeks instead. So, I have a quandary: how do I get more Patreon supporters, and how do I get people to care about whether or not I upload on a timely manner? It's sort of the same question.

But, I've been thinking about it, and I thought I may not update weekly--make it one of my Patreon goals to upload weekly. That might work. But, I think it would be better if I could offer something that I don't usually do. I was thinking something along the lines of flash fiction or very short stories where I toy around with ideas for novels that I may or may not pick up later. So, that could be a thing. But, what is definitely coming to this blog is a News page because I need one so I can keep everyone up-to-date with what I'm doing. So, here it is.
